I love my job...it's been 50 years since my first photograph was published...it has taken me most everywhere you can imagine, but it's working with talented young people that has to be my favorite. They are always filled with surprises and challenges. There are so many amazing kids out there that deserve some rewards and recognition for their talents, efforts, and hard work.
Yes, I'm on Facebook as many of you know I post links to all the game and event photos there and here on this website and love to meet new people and make new friends...so with that said, we are going to get this new year and new project underway as soon as possible. I am not here just to go to the games and shoot pics hoping you will purchase some prints but I also provide the school with any images they might need along the way and I support the teams, school, programs, and other things as much as I possibly can. I am a big believer in paying it back, paying it forward, or simply doing everything I can to help out.

Hanging on to a leather ball when it's wet and cold, oh did i mention a whole bunch of guys in blue uniforms trying to knock it out of your hands and dragging along hanging onto a leg, belt loop, shoe strings, you name it, but Brian Kruzan did a great job on Friday night at South Fulton, in the rest of the game photos you will see a number of hard fought runs through the masses. You will also see the rest of the guys doing a great job too, so be sure and check them out by clicking the link below....

Tuesday evening in Lewistown Community High School
it was all Volleyball. Freshmen Ladies started the evening off by welcoming
our Northern guests, Peoria Central for the evening of 3 matches with all
three Lewistown teams...All three matches ended with two games and very
solid wins all the way around. The Lady Indians were gracious hosts of
course except on the courts and then it was all business and I do mean
serious business. You will see lots of very good talent on all three of
these teams and Head Coach Sonya Baldwin with the backup of Assistant
Coaches Tina Graham Jockisch and Dale Shaeffer, in my opinion have the
talent for a very productive season....I'll be there along the way to record
most of it for all of you....My game photos are edited and uploaded to their
gallery located at the link below....A special thank you to Mattison Jo
Ebert for her help tagging everyone so they do not miss the photos. I am
sorry for the delay of a few hours today, but I'll make it up on Thursday
evening in Peoria Heights, so see everyone in the Heights and then Friday it
will be the home opener for the Lewistown Indians Varsity Football team
hosting Stark County @ 7pm....thanks all and lets make it a great season for
Monday evening the Lewistown Junior Varsity kicked off their season with a dominate win of 26-0 over Princeville. Any sports event between Lewistown's Indians and Havana's Ducks is always a very good game to see, honestly, every game of this JV Shootout has been just that, a heads-up, fast paced, and great game to watch. This long-time friendly rivalry always has everyone up for that next game... Monday, June 23 was no different....both JV teams are looking great this year and both teams are packed with some great young talent...so get your tickets now for the 2015 Season....The photos from Monday's match-up are edited and posted at the link below....
The Lady Indians and Lady Trojans met in Havana and not to have dinner at Babes , These two JV teams are part of the HHS shootout and both teams are looking very good.....The photos from this game are edited and posted at the link below.
A Wednesday night game at the 10th Street venue found the Lewistown Lady Indians playing the Havana Lady Ducks in a good softball game....I was there to shoot game photos, and i must admit that shooting there at that time of day can be a challenge with lots of strong and direct sunlight combined with deep and dark shade...but with a little extra editing, they don't look too bad....check them out for yourself at the link below...
So Monday's are bad days for you
huh???? Imagine your first game at 9AM
after a long bus ride....12 hours later at 9PM your last game rolls around.
Not just a friendly game at the park, but an entire day of all-out playing
hard, impress the coach against some of the best teams in Central
Illinois....Tired, grumpy, and slamming down cold ones....no, not these kids
they are all ready to go just as hard as that first game 12 hours
Basketball in Central Illinois is pretty much a good peek at what our teams are going to look like for the new season and on Monday, June 16th the Lewistown Lady Indians Team was part of a Junior Varsity Shoot-Out hosted by Havana High School.
